Making cardiac research visible. A 3D animation explaining how ultrasound can measure the properties of miniature, three-dimensional cardiac tissue models.
Created for Dr. Joseph Sebastian’s doctoral research at the University of Toronto, the film brings a laboratory setup into view, then moves closer to the tissue itself. Motion graphics guide the viewer through the science. I led the project from storyboards and visual direction through animation, compositing and sound design.
